Bias Binding is a division of Narrow Fabrics of America (NFA.) NFA was formed
in 1982, from the narrow fabrics and specialty plastics divisions of Chelsea
Industries. The divisions of NFA consist of
Hope Global,
Charbert and
Novelty Bias Binding,
which together, form one of the largest narrow fabrics
manufacturers in the country.
NFA manufactures and distributes specialty textiles including non-elastic
webbing and tapes, braided products such as electrical insulation braids,
industrial braids, nylon braids for parachutes, shroud lines and shoe lacings.
Other products include plastic and fabric bindings, trim and welting sold to
manufacturers of apparel, automobile seat covers, label tapes for garment
identification and handling instructions.
Each of the operating divisions has its own unique strengths
which combine to provide our customers with a range of products and services
available only from NFA.
